Delete your account

You can delete your SN Maths account and the personal data we hold with it at any time. There are two ways to do it: from inside the app, or by writing to us.

1. From inside the app

Open the SN Maths app and go to Account → Delete account, then confirm. The deletion happens straight away; you do not need to contact us and there is nothing to wait for.

2. By email

If you cannot get into the app — a lost phone, a number you no longer use — email snmaths.in@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" and tell us the phone number your account is registered with.

We may ask one question to confirm the account is yours before we delete it — that check is there to stop someone else deleting your courses. We action verified requests, and respond either way, within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

Your profile (name and phone number), your learning activity and watch progress, your reviews and ratings, your live-class chat identity, and your device push tokens are deleted from our systems. Any classes you had saved for offline are removed from the device you delete from.

Deleting your account also ends your access to every course on it, including courses you paid for. Deletion is not a refund and cannot be undone — if what you actually want is your money back, use Cancellation & Refunds instead.

4. What we have to keep

Records of purchases and the tax records that go with them are retained for the period Indian law requires (currently up to 8 years) and are then deleted. They are held against an anonymous identifier, not against you: your name and phone number are removed from them at deletion. Backups are purged on our normal rolling backup cycle.
